The conference season of WBN (Worldwide Broker Network) was launched on January 28-29 in Stockholm at the European Regional Meeting. 280 participants from more than 80 countries came together to discuss the latest developments in non-life insurance and employee benefit services in Europe.

Fredrik Reinfeldt, the former Prime Minister of Sweden, opened the conference speaking about geopolitical and demographic trends in the world. During the day, presentations were heard on topics such as the customer's perspective on long-term success, creative risk management solutions, and European companies' response to macro-level pressures.

As a member of WBN, Firstbrokers had a strong presence at the event. CEO Jaava Myllyniemi participated in the Knowing the Nordics panel discussion on Nordic trends in insurance field. Among the topics of discussion were regulatory measures, responsibility and the challenges caused by growing insurance claims.

WBN is the world's largest independent insurance broker network, and the conference is also a big event. One of its important goals is to offer opportunities for networking and meeting partners around Europe.
